The criteria used to determine Regina Super League teams is as follows:

Mens/Womens Playdowns (Score one value per team for the highest level achieved):
· 200 points for winning the World Championship
· 100 points for winning the Canadian Championship
· 50 points for competing in the Canadian Championship
· 15 points for competing in the Provincial Playdowns
· 8 points for competing in the Southern/Northern Playdowns
· 2 points for competing in the City playdowns Final 16 (Men only)

Other playdowns:
· 20 points for winning the Canadian Mixed Championship
· 5 points for competing in the Canadian Mixed Championship
· 20 points for winning the Canadian Seniors Championship
· 5 points for competing in the Canadian Seniors Championship
· 20 points for winning the Canadian Juniors Championship
· 10 points for competing in the Canadian Juniors Championship
· 2 points for competing in the Provincial Juniors Championship

Super League:
· League champions receive 8 points
· Runners-up receive 4 points
· Semi-final losers receive 3 points
· Quarter-final losers receive 2 points

Cash earnings:
· 1 point for every $1,000 won on the WCT or any other bonspiel with a minimum purse of $4,000(men) or $1,500(women)
